Concerning the South County connector - This is a situation wherein the county and the city will not benefit from a build.
The idea that more people will use the Metro is so out of line as to be ridiculous. has anyone ridden on the Metro lately? Unless you are talking about drunks from a Blues or Cards game - this is not exactly the London Tube system or NYC we are talking about.
And the traffic issue they are looking to fix borders on insignificant. If you have ever ridden in any major matro city traffic ANYWHERE you will see that this a.m. and p.m. trtaffic is MINOR!!!! To tear down homes so that a handful of commuters can save ten minutes a day is stupid and ridiculous....wake the hell up St. louis - this is not necessary.
