President-elect Obama built up a wave of support by harnessing the power of the internet. His fundraising was huge in the online, smaller contribution segment.
Google Exec Eric Schmidt notes how online social networking and the power of the internet can drive change and social movements.
Schmidt has been a key advisor in the early stages of the Obama adminstration. He is a supporter of the idea of rebuilding America's infrastructure as a core strategy of the nation's economic recovery plan.
