Heartland Move?

The nation's economic troubles are hitting hard in the Sunbelt states. California is facing its greatest out migration since the early 90s.

Would it be a good idea for states like Missouri and Illinois to team up on an ad campaign targeting those middle class households looking for a more modest lifestyle? What would those ads look like?

Check out this article describing some of the reasons people are leaving the Golden State in droves.

Sounds like a good idea, but I think you would have a hard time convincing those outstate legislators to promote a bunch of liberal Californians coming to the ole Show Me State.

Rick you do make a good point, however I dont think our current marketing slogan and logo: "St.Lou is all within reach" is doing much to draw the creative class.
