...Apparently, way down south in Texas, they love St. Louis-style pizza. At least they think they do.

If anything, that looks a little bit Chicago style to me. But it's definitely not classic StL pizza.
I'm reminded of when a friend of mine from Chicagoland moved to Oklahoma, in an area close to Texas if I recall correctly. In her first letter after moving, she wrote that she had never realized pizza could be so bad.
